$40,000 lottery ticket sold locally
Those who bought lottery tickets at Dickinson Kum & Go may want to check their numbers.
Somebody is 40 grand richer after the Saturday, Feb. 12 Powerball drawing and they purchased the ticket at Kum & Go, North Dakota Lottery Sales and Marketing Manager Kassondra Keller said.
The person, who had yet to claim their prize as of Tuesday afternoon, matched four of five numbers and the Powerball number. They also paid an extra dollar for the Power Play which multiplied their $10,000 prize by four, giving them $40,000, she said.
"So that was a good dollar," Keller joked.
The winning Powerball numbers were 11-32-36-48-52 and the Powerball was 19. The Power Play was 4.
The winner has 180 days to claim the prize, she said. The total jackpot was $83.5 million.
