Arrests made in connection with Matejovsky case, Sundeen expects more
Benjamin Orf, who authorities arrested Friday in connection to a Dunn County shooting, resides in Dickinson, according to Stark County District Court records. His age was not released and limited information was available Monday.
Orf has been charged for being a felon in possession of a firearm and Assistant Stark County State Attorney Jim Hope said his connection to the shooting is unclear.
The body of Neal Matejovsky, 49, of Dickinson was found Friday in Dunn County.
A Texas man, 39-year-old Shane Patrick Miller, is incarcerated in Alabama and has been charged with murder in connection to the shooting.
Matejovsky is believed to have been killed on March 26. Authorities say he was reported missing about 10 days before his body was found.
Lt. Rod Banyai from the Dickinson Police Department said authorities did not send out a news release about the missing person because they didn't want to compromise the investigation.
"We knew we were going forward and we were suspecting the direction it was going to go," Banyai said. "From the initial investigation, it had indications that something had happened to him."
Dunn County State's Attorney Ross Sundeen said he expects more arrests.
