Bank robbed by two men in Medina

MEDINA — The Northland Financial Bank here was robbed Friday morning, according to the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office.

The robbery was reported at 10:41 a.m., said Sheriff Chad Kaiser. He said two men went into the bank, one holding a handgun, and demanded money. An undetermined amount of money was taken.

Kaiser said the two men were short in stature, one was black and the other’s race was undetermined.

“They fled in in a Chevy Trailblazer, which was found abandoned south of Medina,” Kaiser said.
