Corps denies easement to complete Dakota Access Pipeline construction in ND

Beach ends season ranked No. 9 in state

Beach rose one spot and Grant County fell one spot in the final Class B girls basketball media poll of the 2011-12 season.

Defending state champion Carrington (18-1) remained No. 1, edging unbeaten Kindred (19-0) for the top spot.

Beach (17-2) goes into the postseason ranked No. 9 while Grant County (18-1) is No. 8. The teams, which compete in different regions, did not compete during the regular season.

Grafton, New Town and Central Cass round out the top five.

The polls are voted on by members of the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association.
