Bismarck St. Mary’s defeats Dickinson in OT

BISMARCK — The Dickinson High girls basketball team couldn’t hold its five-point halftime lead.

Bismarck St. Mary’s rallied in the second half and needed overtime to defeat the Midgets 60-57 in a West Region game on Thursday.

Cloey Miller had a game-high 19 points for the Saints. The junior guard drained five 3-pointers. Katelyn Schaffner supplied 10 points and eight rebounds. Sarah Stoltz added 10 points.

Meryl Kovacs and Raegen Linster each had 13 points, while Riley Cooper had 12. Linster also grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.

The Midgets finish their regular season hosting Mandan at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday.
