BLM officials seek comment on pipelines
The Bureau of Land Management is seeking public input on proposed pipelines for oil and produced water in McKenzie and Dunn counties.
Enable Bakken Crude Services LLC’s Bear Dean Phase 2 pipelines would collect oil from wells south of Lake Sakakawea and east of Watford City and deposit it at a central facility near Highway 85 south of Watford. Another pipeline would bring produced water from wells to a regulated disposal well.
The pipelines are 14 miles each and 3 to 6 inches wide.
BLM is seeking comments on its environmental assessment of the poposal, which can be found at http://blm.gov/n5kd.
The public has until June 22 to submit comments to the Dickinson BLM office.
