Blue Hawks hire Miller as offensive line coach
Dickinson State football head coach Pete Stanton announced Jeff Miller will be the offensive line coach for the upcoming 2014 season on Tuesday.
The Oakes native brings 15 years of coaching experience with his most recent stint at Minot State as the defensive line coach and spent three years coaching linebackers. Prior to his time at Minot State, Miller also coached at Mayville State, Hibbing Community College and Minnesota State Moorhead.
“He is a North Dakota guy who has a lot of experience at the college level,” Stanton said in a press release. “He is familiar with our conference and what our program will need to do to be successful. Jeff is a proven recruiter who has a vast amount of experience recruiting in several different areas across the country.
“With Jeff’s work ethic and experience, he will be a great addition to our athletic staff.”
Miller will also be helping out as an assistant coach for the men’s and women’s track and field teams.
