Trinity High School librarian Rachel Ebach peered into the THS library with a flashlight after the March 3 fire that left the building unusable.

“Everything was covered in a layer of soot, and of course, with no electricity, I couldn’t really assess the damage,” she said. “All I saw was at the end of the beam of the flashlight.”

Ebach, who also teaches seventh-grade English, wasn’t allowed to step into the library because of safety reasons.
