FARGO — Those in the ag industry say it’s scary how much of a disconnect there is between consumers and farmers.

“You have people saying they don’t need a farmer because they can go to the grocery store,” said Bill Hoffmann, a member of the Red River Valley Fair board. “That’s really scary.”
