Presented by the Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce and set for Saturday, Jan. 18 at Stockmen’s Livestock Exchange, the event will feature about 130 bulls and is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. with the main indoor showcase set for 1 p.m.

“It should be a great event and an exciting day,” said Mike Renner, the agriculture reporter for KDIX radio and a member of the Dickinson Chamber Ag Committee. “We’ll have a lot of great bulls there, so people can get a good look at some of them and possibly make a purchase at a sale later this year.”

Chamber events and marketing coordinator Kristi Tessier said attendees can join sponsors and consignors for coffee, donuts and a free 11 a.m. chili lunch. The event will also feature $1,500 in Bull Bucks — which can be used toward the purchase of any bull shown — to be given away.

“This event provides an excellent way to bring bull buyers and sellers together to visit about the cattle industry,” Ag Committee member Kurt Froelich said. “Participants have the opportunity to view some of the highest quality genetics of various breeds at this annual event.”

Renner said the event will also feature a small trade show provided by sponsors and will include some of the latest farm machinery.

“The lineup is pretty much set and people are welcome to come any time after 9 a.m.,” Renner said. “This will be our 15th annual showcase. We have some great bulls and great sponsors and we’re looking forward to a fun day.”

For more information, Tessier said to contact the Chamber at 701-225-5115.
