Highway Patrol’s Kadrmas promoted to sergeant

North Dakota Highway Patrol Col. Michael Gerhart announced the promotion and reassignment of Trooper Wade Kadrmas to sergeant at the motor carrier division in Dickinson.

Kadrmas’ promotion became effective Aug. 1, according to a news release. He began his career with the Highway Patrol in August 2005 and served in Bismarck and Dickinson.

CHI St. Joseph’s Health promotes two

DeeAnna Opstedahl and Denise Lutz have been promoted to new positions with CHI St. Joseph’s Health in Dickinson.

Opstedahl recently took on the position of vice president of patient care services. She had been St. Joseph’s director of surgery for four years, and for six months last winter oversaw the Mercy Medical Center’s surgical department in Williston.

Opstedahl works to make positive changes in the care given to patients, as well as making improvements to the work environment for staff.

Lutz is St. Joseph’s new administrator of clinic services. She had been the interim clinic administrator since November, leading the various physician practices and clinics at St. Joseph’s.

She had served as the executive director of human resources for seven years, and before that served as director of behavioral health services. Lutz oversees St. Joseph’s clinics that will relocate to the new hospital in Dickinson in December, and also the rural clinics in Beach and Killdeer.

Opstedahl lives in Dickinson with her husband and two sons. Lutz and her husband live on a farm outside of New England.

Lefor receives insurance award

American Equity Investment Life Insurance Co. announced that Greg Lefor has been named a member of the Gold Eagle Program.

The Gold Eagle Program began in 2007 and membership is awarded to agents based on their outstanding production and good standing with American Equity.

This is the second year Lefor has achieved Gold Eagle status.
