Cleveland shuts out Twins: House throws 5 1/3 scoreless innings as Indians defeat Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS — The Cleveland Indians got five-plus scoreless innings from left-hander T.J. House in a 5-0 win against the Minnesota Twins on Wednesday at Target Field.

After allowing five runs to the Twins in the first inning Tuesday, Indians pitchers kept the Twins off the scoreboard for 17 consecutive innings heading into the final game of the series Thursday afternoon.
