Consolidated to keep Viacom channels
Southwestern North Dakota’s top telecommunication company will keep 15 major TV network channels, officials announced Wednesday.
Dickinson-based Consolidated has reached an agreement with Viacom to keep the channels, Business Development Manager Rolan Honeyman said. The agreement was reached Tuesday night.
A previous agreement expired Monday, but the channels remained on the air. Honeyman said he could not disclose the terms of the agreement.
The networks that were in question included BET, CMT, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Spike, TV LAND and VH1.
