Construction Zone: Dickinson to see traffic obstructions
Because of construction in the coming days, various parts of Dickinson will experience traffic delays and road closures, according to a press release from Dickinson Public Information Officer Lydia DeJesus.
- Starting Friday, traffic delays will occur between Fifth Street and Sixth Street Southeast because of construction on Ninth Avenue Southeast.
East Broadway and Livestock Lane also will be closed. Traffic should be back to normal in the second week of June.
- Starting Friday, construction on 10th Avenue Southeast will close Livestock Lane to East Broadway Street. Traffic should be back to normal in the first week of July.
- Starting Monday, construction on Fifth Street Southwest will close the street from Main Avenue to Sixth Avenue Southeast. Travelers should follow detour signs, and traffic should be back to normal by early July.
Detours in place starting Tuesday on Highway 2
U.S. Highway 2 from Ninth Avenue Northwest to 18th Street West in Williston will be closed with detours in place starting Tuesday.
The construction is due to the 18th Street underpass project. The detour route will remain until the fall.
