Continue the investigation into Hagen Junior High

Email

I recently read an article in my hometown newspaper concerning the Hagen Junior High, formerly Dickinson Central High School.

I urge those involved to continue the investigation.

I graduated in 1956 with perhaps 100 other students. Three of us (that I know of) have been diagnosed with the same cancer. My oncologist felt that this was a high number for a small group of people.

The other two classmates and I had complete different lifestyles, and the only thing we had in common was attending Dickinson Central High School.

I know of other cancer cases each from the classes of 1952, 1958 and 1959.

I’m sure there are others I am not aware of. If we can prevent even one person from getting cancer, we need to do that.
