Crews clean 65,000-gallon oil spill near Chicago
ROCKDALE, Ill. (AP) -- The Environmental Protection Agency says a spill of 65,000 gallons of waste oil outside Chicago has had little effect on the environment.
EPA spokesman Jim Mitchell says crews made progress during the night cleaning up the oil on land in the town of Rockdale and contained areas where the oil contaminated water.
