- Dickinson, Andrus Outdoors, Lake Sakakawea/area lakes: Limited reports from Lake Sakakawea.

- Dickinson, Runnings Farm & Fleet, Lake Sakakawea/area lakes: A few anglers working Lake Sakakawea by Four Bears. Try variety of presentations. Mix of walleye and sauger depending on depth.

- Garrison, Indian Hills Resort, Lake Sakakawea: Little activity. Bait available until Oct. 17.

- Glen Ullin, Fitterer's Inc., Lake Tschida: No activity.

- New Town, Scenic 23, Lake Sakakawea: Weather permitting, fair walleye success.

- Pick City, Scott's Bait & Tackle, Lake Sakakawea/Missouri River: Little activity on Lake Sakakawea. Continued walleye success on Missouri River using live bait, three-way swivels or Lindy rigs around the coal veins, stumps and cable crossing.

- Ray, Lund's Landing, Lake Sakakawea, Whitetail Bay: Little activity.

- Watford City, Tobacco Garden Resort & Marina, Lake Sakakawea: Not many anglers but those going are still finding sauger and walleye. Try variety of presentations.

- Williston, Scenic Sports, Lake Sakakawea: Weather permitting, anglers still finding some sauger with a mix of walleye on the Missouri River. No report from Lake Sakakawea.


- North Dakota Game and Fish Department District Game Wardens: Fair to good waterfowl numbers with smattering of cranes in west-central and Northwestern North Dakota. Snow goose numbers seem higher now than in recent years.

- Northwest: Look for spotty pheasant success.

- Southwestern: Look for possibility of fewer pheasants for the opener. Elk activity slowed. Early doe unit hunters having good success.

- West-central: Fair to good waterfowl numbers.
