Department of Ed upholds DSU fine for enrollment-related violations
Dickinson State University officials this week received news that the U.S. Department of Education has denied an appeal for a $32,500 fine for enrollment reporting infractions, they announced today.
The infractions occurred during the 2010 and 2011 academic years, according to an email sent by DSU. University spokesperson Marie Moe said DSU will be paying the fine, which is due within 30 days of the date of the letter, with "non-state appropriated oil revenue funds."
