DHS has 4 wrestlers remaining in Custer County Tournament

MILES CITY, Mont. — After a long day of wrestling in the Custer County Tournament, Dickinson High has four who are moving on.

None of the four wrestlers can win a championship, but three of the four can place as high as third. In the 132 weight class, senior Devin Berger reached the semifinals, but was charged with a loss. Tom Irwin (138) and juniors Jose Dimas (145) and Clayton Tangen have all moved forward to wrestle another day.

Out of the 26 teams competing, Dickinson finished right in the middle in 13th place with 53.5 points. For the top five teams, Sydney, Mont., is currently in first 135 points, followed by Gillette, Wyo., (133), Forseith, Mont., (118), Billings-Skyview Mont., (109.5) and Powell, Wyo., (99).

The final day of the tournament resumes today.
