Dickinson man faces burglary, theft charges
DICKINSON - The Dickinson Police Department reported on Wednesday that a Dickinson State University student has been charged with burglary and theft of property. Both charges constitute class C felonies.
Investigator Chris Coates said Roosevelt Curry, 23, was charged in connection to a burglary at Delong Hall.
Curry currently resides in Dickinson.
The burglary was reported by Alisher Mukhamedjanov, 22, on May 19. Mukhamedjanov is a DSU student who was residing in the dorm room that Curry allegedly burglarized.
Coates said a laptop, a power pack and a pocket watch were stolen during the burglary.
He added that although the property which was stolen belonged to 19-year-old Mikhodjaer Sadriddin, who lived in a different dorm, it was all in Mukhamedjanov's dorm at the time of the burglary.
"All of the property that had been stolen has since been returned to the victim," Coates said.
