Dickinson man seriously injured after sideswiping semi truck
Two Dickinson men were injured, one of them seriously, after sideswiping a semi truck on Wednesday morning on the 33rd Street Southwest truck bypass northwest of Dickinson.
Eric Taylor, 23, was driving a 2015 Ford F-350 pickup eastbound when he crossed the double-yellow lines lane divider and entered the westbound lane. The pickup sideswiped a 2006 International truck driven by Thomas Burger, 57, of Clayton, Wis.
Taylor suffered serious injuries, totaled the pickup and was cited for driving in the wrong lane. Taylor’s passenger, Alex Ziman, 23, had minor injuries. Burger was not injured.
