Dickinson man taken to hospital after police use Taser on him three times
A 19-year-old Dickinson man was taken to the hospital after being Tased three times early Saturday morning in an effort to subdue him.
In the struggle, at least two Dickinson Police officers were hit or kicked by William Clark, who was arrested for assaulting a peace officer, resisting arrest, ingesting a controlled substance and disorderly conduct, Detective Terry Oestreich said.
Officers responded to a call because the young man was allegedly jumping around without a shirt while yelling profanities, Oestreich said. Officers gave Clark orders to put his hands down and back away, but he allegedly didn't comply.
Mary Powell, 48, Dickinson, was arrested in connection with methamphetamine possession on Friday afternoon after being pulled over. She was charged with driving under suspension, leaving the scene of an accident, fictitious registration, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance -- methamphetamine -- and possession of a controlled substance for pills.
Michael Decker, 30, Dickinson, was arrested for simple assault after allegedly hitting a victim on Friday afternoon.
Casey Haymon, 22, Dickinson, was arrested for disorderly conduct after allegedly fighting on Friday night.
Joey Henry, 25, Enterprise, Utah, and Vaughn Thomason, 20, Conway Ark., were arrested in connection with a theft from Dan's Super Market.
Henry was arrested for driving under the influence, retail theft, carrying a concealed weapon. Thomason was arrested for retail theft and fraudulent practice in urine testing early Sunday morning.
