Dickinson rallies, outlasts Williston

WILLISTON — The Dickinson High boys basketball team withstood a Jayden Ferguson 24-point performance and 10 3-point barrage.

The Midgets countered with four players in double digits en route to a 72-64 West Region win over the Coyotes on Thursday.

At halftime, Williston held a three-point, 38-35, lead over Dickinson.

Parker Egli posted a team-high 17 points for the Midgets (3-10, 3-7 West), while Aanen Moody added 15, Luke Herauf posted 11 and Dylan Skabo had 10.

Dickinson was 18 of 22 (82 percent) from the free-throw line. Mark Erickson chipped in eight points, while Levi Jordheim had seven and Mac Rohr ended with four.

Dickinson returns to the court to host No. 2-ranked Minot at 7:30 p.m. today.
