Three killed in mobile home fire in Carrington

Dickinson tallies 9 goals, topples Richland

SIDNEY, Mont. — The victory came easy for the Dickinson High hockey team.

The Midgets flew by Richland (Sidney, Mont.) 9-2 in a nonconference game on Thursday.

Dickinson junior forward Andrew Heckaman scored the first goal and the team continued its run of five unanswered goals.

Richland scored at the 8 minutes, 47 seconds mark of the second period, but the Midgets retaliated with four-straight goals in the third period. Junior forward Matt Pavek supplied the first goal, while senior forward Alex Turcotte recorded the next three goals.

Dickinson sophomore goalie Eric Schaper made 21 saves.

Dickinson hosts Oahe (S.D.) at 5 p.m. today.
