The Titans (12-1) leapt two spots to No. 3 in the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association's Class B boys basketball poll Monday. Trinity is on a 12-game win streak after losing its season opener to Shiloh Christian.

The Titans can give coach Gregg Grinsteinner his 299th career victory as a head coach, not to mention wrap up the top seed in the District 14 Tournament, when they host Beulah at 7 p.m. today.

If Trinity beats Beulah, Grinsteinner would go for win No. 300 on Thursday at Killdeer.

Linton, the only unbeaten Class B boys team in the state at 15-0, remained No. 1, receiving all 10 first-place votes. Watford City (12-1) was ranked No. 2.

The Wolves are scheduled to visit Trinity on Feb. 20.

Bowman County (12-3) was the only other Region 7 team to receive votes in the poll.
