Dickinson Trinity handles Bismarck JV

BISMARCK — The Dickinson Trinity girls basketball team finished out Shiloh Christian’s New Years’ Invite with a bang.

The Titans rolled over Bismarck High’s junior varsity team 61-32 Saturday night. Trinity went into halftime with a 15-point lead and outscored the Demons 26-12 in the final 16 minutes en route to the team’s second consecutive win.

Brianna Soehren lead the Titans with 12 points, while Kennedy Keator added 11 and Rachel Jahner posted 10 and two 3-pointers.

Despite the loss, Bismarck’s Michaela Casey shined and scored half her team’s points with a game-high 16.

Trinity doesn’t play for until late next week when they play in Standing Rock Friday and travel to Bismarck for the Civic Center Jamboree on Saturday.
