Diversity, Direction and Dollars forum set for Jan. 14 in Dickinson

The 18th annual Diversity, Direction and Dollars forum begins at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday at the Ramada Grand Dakota Lodge in Dickinson.

The forum features speakers on topics affecting the agriculture industry in western North Dakota and eastern Montana, including ideas for improving productivity and decreasing costs, while also providing high-quality food produced in a sustainable manner.

The keynote speaker for the event is West Branch, Iowa, farmer and author Jolene Brown, who plans a presentation that will be interactive with her audience.

The event also features South Dakota and South Dakota State University Extension climatologist Dennis Todey and North Dakota State University Extension Service machine systems specialist John Nowatzki, among others.
