DOT Office of Traffic Safety to receive $1M in grants
WASHINGTON — The North Dakota Department of Transportation will receive more than $1 million in grants, according to a press release.
The Office of Traffic Safety will get more than $1,452,000 from the U.S. Department of Transportation, Rep. Kevin Cramer said in the release. The funds will be used for impaired driving countermeasures, occupant protection and traffic safety information systems.
“While we continue building our transportation infrastructure to keep pace with development, safety remains a priority,” the North Dakota republican said. “These grants will bolster the work being done to prevent traffic fatalities in North Dakota.”
