DSU solid at CC Cobber duals meet
MOORHEAD, Minn. -- The Dickinson State men's and women's track and field teams boasted honors during the Concordia College Cobber duals meet.
The Blue Hawks sophomore John Paul Williams won the long jump at 21 feet, 11.75 inches. He also finished second in the pole vault (15-1.5).
Nathan Magstadt came in second in the 60 hurdles (8.24). He also took third in the 600-meter run (1:24.02) and helped his relay team with a third place finish in the 1600-meter relay (3:30.94).
On the women's side, junior Brianny Williams came in sixth in the 60 hurdles (9.36) and seventh in the long jump (16-5.75). Sophomore Hailey Schaper placed sixth in the high jump (5-0.25).
The Blue Hawks travel to Fargo to compete in the Bison Open on Saturday.
