North Dakota District Director Michael Gallagher, along with Dale Van Eckhout, senior area manager for the Bismarck area office, presented some of the options small business owners have through the ACA for covering their employees.

Ann Makres, stakeholder liaison for the IRS, gave a presentation teaching business owners how to navigate the website and how to avoid trouble from her agency.

Gallagher presented some of the loan options the Dakota Certified Development Corp. has to offer, including Kiva, a micro loan program designed to help immigrants begin businesses.

A similar event will be held in Bismarck on April 3.
