A man arrested in connection with the deaths, David George Stevens, 35, Fargo, is being held in Cass County Jail pending charges in connection with the deaths.

According to Forum archives, Wickenheiser had two children with suspect David Stevens, one in April 2012 and one this past July. Both were boys.

According to court records, Stevens has a number of convictions in Cass County District Court, including a conviction for violating a no-contact order in 2010, a charge he pleaded guilty to.

Stevens also has a conviction in Cass County for terrorizing, a case that also stemmed from 2010.

Minnesota court records show Stevens has a 2009 conviction from Hennepin County for disorderly conduct. In that case, domestic assault charges were dismissed after Stevens pleaded guilty to the disorderly conduct count.

Stevens also has a conviction in Ramsey County for theft.

Fargo Police Lt. Joel Vettel said murder charges are expected to be filed against Stevens today and he is expected to make a court appearance in Cass County District Court.
