Fargo South High student pulled from pool, taken to hospital: Child in ‘serious’ condition, incident under investigation
FARGO — A male student was pulled from the pool at Fargo South High school Tuesday morning and his condition is “serious,” Fargo Schools Superintendent Jeff Schatz said at an afternoon news conference.
Students and instructors noticed the student was “struggling” in the deeper end of the pool during a physical education class, Schatz said. He was not swimming when he was rescued.
The student was immediately given CPR and taken to the hospital via ambulance.
