Fast-moving storm clips Killdeer, southwest North Dakota

A storm rolls into Killdeer on Saturday evening.

A storm moving quickly through western North Dakota on Saturday dumped 3 inches of rain in Medora and pumped wind gusts of 60 mph through the Killdeer area, according to a spokesperson with the National Weather Service in Bismarck.

There were no reports of damage, however residents reported on The Press' Facebook page penny-sized hail.

Dark clouds rolled in from the northwest Saturday evening, prompting the issuance of severe thunderstorm warnings for Stark, Dunn, Billings and Bowman counties.
