Former tax commissioner Fong joins Odney
BISMARCK — Former North Dakota Tax Commissioner Cory Fong joined Odney’s public affairs department, the company announced Thursday.
Fong stepped down late last year after serving as tax commissioner since 2005. At Odney, he will specialize in business consulting, government relations and lobbying, according to a release.
“Cory Fong’s in-depth knowledge of North Dakota business and government will be a great asset to us as we help new and existing businesses grow and prosper,” Odney President Pat Finken said in the release.
Fong will join former Commerce Commissioner Shane Goettle, who is public affairs director at Odney.
