Fourth of July fishing should be good in ND
BISMARCK (AP) -- The North Dakota Game and Fish Department says families looking to enjoy an outdoor outing over the Fourth of July weekend can find plenty of spots to go fishing.
Fisheries Chief Greg Power says high water levels across much of the state are benefitting most lakes and fish populations. He says, "Never has the state had so many different water bodies to fish."
Power says anglers should check ahead on the status of access roads and boat ramps because some have been impacted by flooding.
