Full-time weather radar starts in southwest ND
BISMARCK (AP) -- A weather radar at the Bowman airport in southwest North Dakota is running full time.
The North Dakota Atmospheric Resource Board says the radar went online this month. The agency says a part-time station had been operating at the airport since 1997 to support cloud seeding operations each summer.
