St. Joseph’s welcomes nurse practitioner
Medford serves the St. Joseph’s Medical Clinics in Killdeer and Beach, as well as the St. Joseph’s Walk-In Clinic in Dickinson. She is originally from Houston and graduated with her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Texas Woman’s University.
She worked as a registered nurse with an interest in adult and pediatric oncology and ambulatory surgery. She then graduated with her master’s degree in the family nurse practitioner program at Texas Woman’s University.

Sanford Health heart team grows
Dr. Dragos Balf, an interventional cardiologist, and Dr. Diane Kraft, a cardiologist, recently joined the Sanford Heart team at Sanford Clinic in the Q&R Tower at 222 N. Seventh St., Bismarck.
Balf completed a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven, Conn., where he also did his residency, and an interventional cardiology fellowship at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Mass. He holds board certifications in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.
Kraft, a native of Bismarck, completed a cardiology fellowship and internal medicine residency at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. She earned her medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Grand Forks. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
