Helicopter, law enforcement called out for medical emergency north of Belfield
Those concerned about all of the flashing lights headed west along Interstate 94 west of Dickinson this morning can rest easy.
A rush of law enforcement and an ambulance at about 7 was for a heart attack victim, an officer said. A low-flying helicopter was also seen. It had been waiting for the victim at the Dickinson airport.
Belfield Police Department Officer Steve Byrne said the extra squads were called in in case officers needed to direct traffic to make way for the ambulance. The incident was north of Belfield off of Highway 85, he said.
