Hit-and-run victim ‘trying to make a living for his family’


WILLISTON — The victim of a fatal hit-and-run crash here worked in North Dakota as a crane operator to support his wife and three young girls in Mississippi.

Anthony Scoggins, 31, identified this week as the pedestrian who died late Thursday after being struck by a pickup, had been at home near Richton, Miss., days earlier and attended church with his family before returning to Williston to work.
