BISMARCK — After accepting his final award as a member of his school’s 1,600-meter relay team, Killdeer senior Tucker Beck broke down in tears as he hugged teammate Hunter Lincoln.

They weren’t tears of sadness, but tears of joy.

“I’m just glad that I had the honor to run with all my teammates,” Beck said. “It was a real blessing.”
