Jamestown man faces trial on attempted murder charge
JAMESTOWN -- A Jamestown man was bound over for trial on attempted murder and aggravated assault charges after waiving his right to a preliminary hearing Thursday in Southeast District Court.
Said Ahmed Muse, 49, is accused of using a large knife or machete in an attack on Abdirizak Nur on June 8 in Jamestown. Abdirizak, 26, was treated for a deep cut to the left biceps and cuts to the hand, according to Jamestown Police Chief Scott Edinger.
