Judge seeks to streamline Sjodin killer’s death penalty appeal
FARGO — Attorneys involved in Alfonso Rodriguez’s final appeal of his death sentence were asked by U.S. Judge Ralph Erickson to streamline the case if possible.
“There are a lot of pages, a lot of things said, a lot of issues raised,” Erickson told the attorneys Thursday in federal court in Fargo during a 13-minute status conference.
