Kainz claims high jump title for DHS
BISMARCK — A year ago as a freshman, Dickinson High Wyatt Kainz surprised his coaches and teammates by placing at the North Dakota Class A state track and field meet.
Kainz hasn’t gone anywhere but up.
The sophomore won the Class A state high jump title with a height of 6 feet, 4 inches during the final day of the state meet on Saturday at the MDU Resources Community Bowl.
