Kansas authorities seek help in search for missing man

Jeremiah Joseph Perry

TIOGA – Authorities in Kansas are asking North Dakotans to help locate a missing man who had been living in a Tioga crew camp but has been missing since May 2013.

Jeremiah Joseph Perry, 21, left Kansas in April 2013 and traveled to Tioga, where he stayed at the Capital Lodge workforce housing camp from April 2-13, said the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office in Westmoreland, Kan.

Perry’s family reported him missing in May and no one is known to have had contact with him for nine months, authorities said. He is wanted in Kansas for a probation violation.

Perry is described as a white male, 170 pounds, 6 foot 1, with brown hair and hazel eyes and a tattoo on his right shoulder of a grim reaper on top of skulls.

His family has offered a reward for information leading to his whereabouts. People with information are asked to call Detective Eric Green at the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office at (785) 457-3353 or Detective Steven Armstrong with the Williams County Sheriff’s Office at (701) 577-7700.
