Killdeer stays at No. 2 in the Class 1A poll

The Killdeer football team maintained its No. 2 spot in the Class 1A poll for the third week in the row.

The Cowboys garnered 59 points and one first-place votes. Hazen, which has stayed in the top spot all season, collected 13 first-place votes and a total of 73 points.

Larimore and Carrington each maintained its Nos. 3 and 4 spots, respectively, while Des Lacs-Burlington is ranked No. 5 with 16 points.

In 9-man, the top four spots didn't change as Cavalier still sits in the top spot with 12 first-place votes and 67 points. Towner-Granville-Upham is No. 2, Grant County-Flasher is No. 3 and Shiloh Christian is No. 4. Finley-Sharon-Hope-Pope is the newcomer to the rankings in the No. 5 spot.

Richardton-Taylor-Hebron also garnered five points and plays No. 3 Grant County-Flasher at 7 p.m. Friday.
