Lend a hand on public land
North Dakota volunteers will participate in the annual National Public Lands Day by helping care for the state's public land Saturday.
North Dakota opportunities include:
- Lake Metigoshe State Park, 16 miles northeast of Bottineau: Volunteers will rebuild four campsites in the Washegum Campground. Work will include bringing in clay, black dirt, gravel and reseeding. Meet at 9 a.m. in the Washegum campground.
