I would like to take this opportunity to compliment a Dickinson local business for its willingness to accommodate out-of-town visitors.

Such was the case last Friday, Jan. 23 when it was of necessity to have some mechanical work done on a vehicle.

I was the driver of a charter bus owned by Prairie Coach Trailways, Dell Rapids, S.D. Prairie Coach Trailways had transported a women and men's basketball team, respectively, to Dickinson to play against Dickinson State University on Friday night. The itinerary also included Minot State University on Saturday night.

An antifreeze leak on the bus developed Thursday night, necessitating repairs to be made Friday morning. With a tight schedule and itinerary, the dispatcher for Prairie Coach Trailways made contact with Performance Truck Center. They were able to adjust their schedule accordingly on a short notice to make the necessary repairs so that the itinerary for the trip could be maintained for the remainder of the weekend.

It is with a sense of gratitude that I acknowledge Performance Truck Center of Dickinson for reaching out to us on this unforeseen situation.

Jerry Olson, Hartley, Iowa
