On April 7, legislators from both parties in the House Appropriations Committee passed amendments making cancer screening a priority, specifically to fund Women's Way and colorectal cancer screening programs. Scientific research tells us that the prognosis for breast cancer, cervical cancer and colon cancer is excellent if caught early.
