Letter: Reward offered for help finding puppy killer
In such a small community as ours, one would think you'd know your neighbors. On Aug. 14 of this year around 9 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. someone came into our yard, and kicked and beat our 10-month-old puppy to death while he was still tied up. It was a gruesome task, the person or persons tortured this puppy. I can say this because there were pools and pools of blood dripping down the side of the dog house and everywhere in the yard. Blood went through the yard, through the gate, down the sidewalk and to the alley behind our house because the person or persons responsible took him with them. It's hard to believe a small puppy could bleed that much.
I must say to the residents of this area, we have amongst us an aggressive, dangerous person or persons. Those responsible for this horrendous act might possibly go to same benefit supper for someone in need, a fair, a concert, maybe even a barbecue with us. Who killed Paco? I'd really like to know, for Paco, for myself and for everyone who lives around us.
This type of aggressive person may not stop at just hurting animals if set off in such a way as to release this type of anger once again.
If anyone knows anything or has heard anything, please contact the Golden Valley County Sheriff's Department or 701-872-4733. The North Dakota Humane Society is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest or convictions of persons involved.
