Letter: Thank you voters for taking away more of our rights
This is an open letter to the voters.
Thank you for doing your duty as a citizen and voting.
My first question is, do you realize what you gave away in the election on Nov. 6?
You gave away your right and my right to choose by voting for the statewide smoking ban.
The Constitution of the United States of America guarantees you and I certain rights, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, along with freedom of speech and the right to keep and bear arms.
Perhaps you think you only gave away my right to choose, but you gave away your right, as well.
As a voter, as a large or small business owner, and as an individual, you voted our right to choose away.
Since when did your right become bigger than my right?
Is this even legal?
Think about it people.
